%A P R Patnaik %J Hungarian Journal of Industrial Chemistry %T Principal component analysis of the effect of in-flow disturbances on recombinant beta-gaglactosidase fermentation %X Principal component analysis (PCA) has been applied to the fed-batch fermentative production of recombinant beta-galactosidase to analyse the effect of inflow disturbances. Although the full model has nine time-dependent variables, PCA shows that five are sufficient to provide a good description of bioreactor dynamics for bath smooth and disturbed operations.
