We found several putative gene clusters in RKJ300, namely Phthalate and Terephthalate degradation gene clusters, Vanillin degradation gene cluster and steroid degradation gene clusters (total 3 out of 4).
We also found putative genes involved in the stogare and metabolism of storage compounds.
All gene clusters have been compared with closely related strains i.e. Rhodococcus sp. M213,
Rhodococcus jostii RHA1, Rhodococcus opacus PD630 and Rhodococcus sp. JVH1.
OFS v1.2 tool have been used to find out the gene clusters in all strains. Gene clusters were also manually curated (i.e. sequence and function based) for all compared strains.
