Welcome to Home Page of StarPDB |
A webserver StarPDB has been developed for annotating structure of a protein using simililarity based approach. This server predict/annotate each residue of a protein, annotation of a residue includes i) regular secondary structure (Helix, Strand, Coil), ii) irregular secondary structure (e.g., beta, gamma turns), iii) nucleotide interacting residues and iv) ligand interacting residues. Annotation of protein residues is based on similarity between query protein and known protein structures in Protein Data Bank (PDB). We used standard BLASTP software for performing similarity against PDB. For more information on StarPDB, please click on |
