siRNAmod is a manually curated database of experimentally validated chemically modified siRNAs.
Currently the database provides experimental information of 4894 chemically modified siRNAs (excluding 435 siRNA sequences as control) and their respective biological activity.
128 unique chemical modifications with detailed information about number and positions of each chemical modification in both sense and antisense are provided.
We have reported chemical modifications individually and in different permutations and combinations used in both sense and antisense strands.
Chemical information about modifications is incorporated including SMILES, InChel, structure.
This database is hoped to be useful for researchers working on siRNA-based therapeutics.
