QM represents the positional propensity of each residue/dipeptide at a particular position. QMs have been generated for HemoPI-1 and HemoPI-2 datasets; where propensity at each position for every residue is obtained by substracting the positional propensity of negative dataset from that of positive dataset in both ( HemoPI-1 & HemoPI-2 ) the datasets.

Single residue-based QM for HemoPI-2 dataset. For each position, frequency of each amino acid is calculated for both positive and negative dataset and final propensity value in each cell represents the substraction of frequency of a particular residue in negative dataset from that of positive dataset. eg. L is preferred at 2nd,9th,13th position in positive dataset. In contrast K (-11.19) is preferred in negative dataset at 3rd position.
