QM represents the positional propensity of each residue/dipeptide at a particular position. QMs have been generated for HemoPI-1 and HemoPI-2 datasets; where propensity at each position for every residue is obtained by substracting the positional propensity of negative dataset from that of positive dataset in both ( HemoPI-1 & HemoPI-2 ) the datasets.

Property-based QM for HemoPI-1 dataset. For each position frequency of residues falling into a particular category of physicochemical property (11 categories in total) is calculated for both positive and negative dataset and final propensity value represents the substraction of frequency of a residues in a particular class in negative dataset from that of positive dataset.eg. positive, aliphatic and hydrophobic residues are preferred in positive datastes at most of the positions.
